I am an early elementary educator with 18 years of experience in Title I settings, focused on building systems that strengthen both student learning and instructional practice, while supporting classrooms where students take ownership of their learning.”
While I have always loved working with students, some of the most meaningful and energizing moments in my career have come from working alongside other teachers. Through mentoring, collaboration, and coaching colleagues, I have developed a strong passion for helping teachers feel confident, capable, and supported in their work.
Over time, this work led me to pursue instructional coaching as a way to expand my impact beyond my own classroom. Instructional coaching provides an opportunity to combine my experience in the classroom with my passion for supporting teachers, with the goal of strengthening instruction and improving student outcomes and experiences across a broader scale.
I bring a practical, systems-based approach to my work, grounded in structured literacy, student evidence, and a deep understanding of early elementary instruction. I value building trust, maintaining a non-evaluative stance, and working in partnership with teachers to support meaningful, sustainable growth through coaching cycles, reflection, and ongoing instructional decision-making.
